Updated guide on how to enable battery percentage on any iPod touch! Works on the latest iOS 10 update! NOTE: You may turn on Find My iPod after completing the process. It should be back on automatically if you followed the steps, however, this may not be true for everyone. The file you are looking for is "com.apple.springboard.plist" (no quotes). Easily reverse this process: https://youtu.be/qDJjN42mA04 Currently works for iOS 10 and any lower version. All iPod touch models are supported. The iPod touch is the most neglected member of the iOS family, and I'm here to show it some love. Apple has taken much technology out of the iPod in an effort to make it thinner and lighter. Even if it sacrifices battery life. They didn't even put in an option to turn on battery percent because the battery is too small! This video demonstrates how you can essentially "force" iOS to display a battery percent even if Apple doesn't allow it. The only way to do this before was through a jailbreak, but now, there's another way.
