Full Story: On the evening of April 30 Shen Yun gave a performance at the Whitney Theater at the Kentucky Center for the performing Arts in Louisville. Among the audience was graphic designer Lydia Thomas who loved Shen Yun's use of color and found inspiration in Shen Yun's spiritual message. [Lydia Thomas, Graphic Designer]: "...either like the beautiful greens and blues of the moon dance or like the fiery blues and reds of the Phoenix dance, it just kinda sets the mood for it whether it's like joyful and playful or more muted and elegant and, and really it's just amazing watching those flashes of colors moving, it's all I can describe it as just the movement of color. I love it." Lydia is a Christian and found Shen Yun mirrored her own beliefs. [Lydia Thomas, Graphic Designer]: "... I found it very inspiring, I mean my own personal beliefs differ, I'm a Christian and so I, I believe in a different God but the culture, the Chinese culture and how they spoke of the reincarnation of you know resisting the words of the red devil and and like Buddha bringing peace, it does closely reflect you know my own beliefs and it's, and its wonderful that, that you can bring that and just freely openly express it to everybody and not be suppressed." Lydia found the very first song - called "Do Not Get Lost" - very moving. [Lydia Thomas, Graphic Designer]: "...the very first one that we saw, very inspiring and it almost brought tears to my eyes, just, I'm going to have to go home write a poem about it... You know our journey is such a long one and we just strive so hard for so much in life, but really it's all about being at peace with yourself, you know, and just making it a good journey, instead of being too worried about every little thing that happens along the way, you know, just make it a good journey." Shen Yun's final show in Louisville is on May 1. NTD News, Louisville, Kentucky
