How To Set-Up CorelDRAW For Use With Vinyl Plotter / Cutter In this video im going to show you how to set-up CorelDRAW (all versions) for use with a vinyl cutter / pen plotter, This set-up should work for most plotter models, I have a Graphtech Redsail, My model is the C3000-95 (3000mm X 950m), Using C3000-95 Driver Software, You WILL need to have watched my other video: How To Set-Up Vinyl Plotter / Cutter For Use With CorelDRAW Firstly open CorelDRAW & create a new blank document, Next, in the page size tabs, enter your plotters sizes, Using your plotters sizes that you entered in the setup, Optional: Using guidelines, mark out your cutting area for the width of vinyl rolls you are using & allowing for any wastage you might have on the sides of your vinyl roll, If you like you can now save this CorelDRAW document as your cutting template, Now that you are ready to cut graphics, import or create your graphic, for your plotter to recognise the lines to cut, all graphics will need to be HAIRLINE BLACK OUTLINE objects with no internal FILL, To cut your graphic, position in place & select PRINT from the FILE tab, For a more accurate graphic positioning you can also use the PRINT PREVIEW option, Remember!, Be sure to do all your plotter checks, vinyl position, selected speed, selected cut force, etc
